Our stars of the week this week are Chloe (Acorns), Katie (Chestnuts), Oliver ( Oaks) and Vriya (Conkers) who have all shown the skills needed to be a good friend. Well done.
The attendance award was awarded to Chestnut class with 99% attendance.
The spick and span award was awarded to Acorns for their tidy learning environment.
House point winners were Melbury 75 points. Overall winners so far are Melbury.
Silver certificates were awarded to Khali and Cameron, (Oaks) Keanu and James (Chestnuts).
Gold certificates were awarded to Ebony (Oaks) and Isla (Chestnuts).
Isla and Jacob shared their medals that they had received from North Dorset rugby club and competing in a one mile run.
Pupils that had taken part in the Big Pedal this week received a certificate. We were one of 1675 schools taking part. Well done to all of the pupils, staff and parents that have cycled to and from school this week. See the photo below to see who cycled this week.
Swimming certificates were presented to Ollie stage 4 deep, Amelia group 2, Evie stage 4 and Eleyna stage 2.
We sang Happy Birthday to Emilie and Archie.
