Dear All,
A big welcome back to you all. Thank you for the really positive response we have had to the new pupil entrance to the school. It has created a much calmer start to the day, with the car park less congested and a much safer place for our children. Also it has enabled learning to start promptly at 9 o’clock which is fantastic!
Due to this success I’m hoping that you will help us to make the end of the day safer for our children too. At pick up time can I kindly ask that you do not stand in the car parking flow area and instead that you wait for your child in the disabled parking space and the one next to it. This will then allow for the traffic to flow around the car park and avoid any collisions with children or adults. This should allow for a smoother pick up.
The children have come back refreshed, eager and ready to learn. It is great to see the children in their smart uniforms and they are a credit to you all. A reminder that children should not be wearing jewellery or nail varnish and that long hair should be tied back everyday so that it is ready for PE. If your child wants to wear a hair band can we please ask that it is blue so it fits with the uniform. Your cooperation in this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
You may have noticed that we have had a bit of a tidy up over the summer and that Conkers Class has had a refur-bishment over the break, providing us with a superb learning environment for our reception and year 1 children. A huge thank you to Mrs Hartgill and Mrs Cross for all their hard work in getting this set up in their own time.
We are all looking forward to an action packed term ahead!
Kind Regards
