Dear All,

I do hope you all had a great half term break, its great to see all the children back and enjoying the sunny break and lunchtimes. It has been a very busy first week back, which culminates this Friday with much activity!

Acorns Assembly is at 9 O’clock, a chance to see what the children got up to last half term in Art attack! This is followed by an internet safety chat. All are welcome to attend, it’s a really good opportunity to find out about how to keep your child safe on the internet and ask any questions. The feedback was really positive from the first one.

Then in the afternoon it is the Curriculum Showcase. There will be an ‘Art Gallery’ in the Hall, with teas and coffees available. The PTFA will be asking for suggestions for fund raising ideas and what to put the money towards in the future. There will also be the chance to sign up for the ‘easyfundraising.org.uk’ we are now up to 23 people registered for the school. It would be great to reach 50! If you are in school on Friday, I look forward to seeing you. It should be a great day!

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

Competition Reminder!

On March 14th it is Commonwealth Day and as a school we will be joining in the celebrations. As part of the celebrations we will be raising the commonwealth flag on our brand new Flag Pole. We thought it would be great to have a child from our school to be the ‘flag raiser’. To be the flag raiser you have to design and create a Commonwealth Day Doodle. The creator of the best design will be the lucky person to help raise the flag on the day. Entries back to the office by Friday 26th February please.
